Ideally, the leader will have experience growing a children's and family ministry in a large church environment, and will have proven ways to help incorporate the entire family in the ministry through worship, teaching and service.

This candidate will work closely with the leader of our youth area to coordinate church-wide programs. Also, this candidate will work closely with other ministry leaders in the church to provide a comprehensive and integrated ministry for the children of our church.


Skills: Leadership experience in the areas of children's ministry required. Must have a proven ability to recruit, retain and develop people for volunteer service opportunities within the Family Ministries area. Excellent team-based leadership abilities and exceptional communication and organizational skills are needed. Great relational skills with people of all ages and situations, and the ability to work in and contribute to an overall staff team environment will be key.

Education and experience: Bachelors degree in related field and paid staff experience in large church setting. Proven track record of successful recruitment/equipping/training of unpaid servants (volunteers).
