Job Description:

Saint Luke Lutheran Church in Itasca, IL is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the part-time position of Praise Band Leader. This person would be responsible for the music in our Saturday evening and Sunday morning contemporary worship services, and leading a weekly rehearsal. Duties include selecting congregational songs, recruiting, rehearsing and directing the praise band, and providing musical leadership for worship. An a_noemailplished guitar player with strong vocal skills is preferred, but would also consider a candidate with keyboard/piano as primary instrument. Knowledge of audio and visual set-up and functionality is a plus. Candidate will be a_noemailmitted Christian with an understanding of Lutheran theology and a desire to minister the Word of God to the congregation through music.
