Job Description:
Calvary Baptist Church is an evangelical, culturally diverse body of believers in midtown Manhattan,_noemailmitted to preaching Christ crucified, risen, and_noemailing again.
We are seeking to fill the position of part time Organist/Assistant Director of Music and Worship Arts. The individual who fills this position will be a_noemailmitted follower of Christ, who possesses a servant’s heart, with a passion for engaging God’s people in song. Our desire is that this person will also seek to develop the musical and artistic gifts of the body, and minister as part of a team.
Skills required include proficiency on the_noemailan (Master’s level preferred), as well as demonstrated choral leadership. Current responsibilities include: service playing, a_noemailpaniment (choir, soloists, etc), choral leadership and coaching as needed.
