Job Description:
The Vine is a new church plant from the heart of 2 older United Methodist Churches. The Vine is seeking a proven leader who will help move our congregation to passionately encounter God in new ways. The right person will have at least 7 years of experience in launching and growing ministry and thinking outside the realm of "normal". This person will lead volunteers and staff in new directions for discipleship and outreach. You will innovate, energize, and encourage new life at The Vine. We seek to share grace with others as we embrace young adults and young families in our_noemailmunity, especially those whom we have not already reached.
The leader of Family Ministry is responsible for visioning, creating, and implementing new missions and ministries with children, youth, and young adult ministries. This person will recruit, coordinate and direct a team of volunteers. This leader will coordinate and may lead weekly programs, events, missions, as well as mentor others into leadership roles. This position is designed for someone who has a proven track record of growing ministries for children, youth, young adults and their families. You must possess a heart for people outside the church and be able to think creatively to continue to build new relationships with those not within our walls. We believe that it is vital to share life, hope, and faith with those in the world around us.
