Job Description:
Lovers Lane United Methodist Church is searching for the right person to help strengthen and grow our ministry to children (birth-5th grade) and their families. Located in the heart of North Dallas, our congregation is composed of a diverse population--ethnically, economically, and otherwise-- with a stated mission of "Loving ALL people into relationship with Jesus Christ." We are seeking a consistent leader who will take our ministry to a new level of loving children and equipping families to "walk in God's ways".

Qualified Candidates will have:
A long term passion for CHILDREN, partnered with skills to inspire, recruit, and train adults.

A strong understanding of the Bible and when/how to introduce different Christian tenets to children. Experience with Large Group/Small Group format curriculum is a plus.

A contagious Love of Christ that is evident in the work of your life and in your relationships.

A desire and ability to create a lively and engaging Sunday morning worship experience for kids.

A passion to build up parents and equip them to create Christ-centered households.

The capability to be a team player, partnered with the sense and skills to provide strong leadership when necessary. Experience managing staff a plus.

Advanced communication skills to connect families to our ministry. Ideas and experience in growing a program and in reaching the unchurched would be greatly valued.

At least 3-5 years' experience in Children's Ministry is highly desired, but not required.
