Associate Pastor of Family Life and Worship
Job Description:
We are looking for a mature and still growing believer who loves God, loves people and is_noemailmitted to loving and ministering to families. We are seeking a person who will jump right in to the life our church and_noemailmunity engaging younger families, supporting their growth through worship and discipleship. We are also looking for someone whose passion is to make a difference in the greater_noemailmunity sharing the love of Christ through personal example and involvement.
This position will require significant skills in planning the overall worship experience for our church and will require musical ability appropriate for planning and sharing responsibilities for leading worship. We are a multi-generational church and it is very important that this person have an appreciation for people of all ages and the ability to engage all in meaningful worship. It is important for the associate pastor to demonstrate strong administrative and_noemailanizational skills as well as have the ability to teach and preach the Bible.
Candidates should have a desire to work as a part of a ministry team to lead people to Christ and grow disciples. A Seminary or Bible College degree is preferred as well as three or more years of ministry in a local church. The person in this position will lead outreach efforts, engage, assimilate, and facilitate opportunities for the spiritual growth of parents and children, as well as coordinate a ministry team focused on Children s ministries.
