Education:I am a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. I was ranked first in my class and was informally selected by the faculty for a return to Trinity following three years in the parish and several more years earning a Ph.D. in Ethics or Systematic Theology. It never happened. I enjoyed parish ministry too much and by the time I stopped enjoying parish ministry,i.e., the non-teaching/preaching/hanging-out-with-kids part, it was too late.
