The Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Life (APYFL) shall provide leadership for all ADCC ministries to children and youth. He shall also be responsible to see that parents receive instruction and perspective on raising children Biblically.The APYFL shall have demonstrated the qualifications for church leadership as found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. He shall be in full agreement with the mission, philosophy of ministry and constitution of ADCC.
He shall be accountable to the Elders and work with all other ADCC pastors in achieving the goals established by its elders and pastors.
He will be responsible for directing the children’s and youth ministries of the church. He will work alongside, and not in place of, the families of Arbor Drive for the purpose of introducing lost children, students and parents to Jesus Christ and developing them spiritually in their relationship with the Savior. He will also be responsible for the development of programs and ministries targeted towards the college age group and young married couples.
The APYFL shall also serve as a member of the ADCC Elder Board.
