Job Description:
Cypress Community Church, located on the Monterey Peninsula, is seeking a full-time Pastor of Worship.The Worship Pastor is a key leader in the church and a member of the senior leadership team. He is responsible to oversee the development, planning and implementation of all worship in the ministries of Cypress Community Church, leading the teams that will prepare, plan, rehearse and present the musical, techinacal, and artistic aspects of the Worship Services on Sunday mornings, and overseeing all other worship/musical events and activities at Cypress. We are particularly looking for someone who is committed to:
Creativity, excellence, and variety of stylistic approach and/or venue;
Participation on the part of the congregation;
Using volunteers in roles of service and leadership in all aspects of the worship ministry;
Implementing the vision, values and strategy of Cypress Community Church;
