Job Description:
Antioch Church in Overland Park, KS is hiring a full time staff accountant to begin work at the start of 2009. Accounting degree and accounting/financial office experience preferred. Job duties include bookkeeping, analysis for management, processing weekly contributions/deposits, and day-to-day financial office administration.
Must have working knowledge of accounting principles, be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to navigate/implement change. Workload is largely self-directed and very manageable. Great work atmosphere. Office is casual. Position reports to the Business Administrator.
Must be proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and able to learn new software applications quickly.
