Grace Church is a vibrant Bible-based non-denominational church experiencing the kind of momentum and growth that only the Spirit of God brings. We are a congregation of 750 - 1000 located on 11 acres in Fairview Heights, Illinois, a suburban community 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. We are in search of a visionary leader who has the heart for the unchurched and a passion for seeing all people, children through adults, worship God in spirit and in truth. We are in need of a person who loves to worship God and has a passion for partnering with others so that many become worshippers who experience the love and grace of Jesus.Leadership/Pastoring
1. Has a strong track record of good leadership skils and the ability
to carry out the administrative elements of palnning a worship
ministry from start to finish.
2. Has a strong track record of good shepherding skills and the ability
to train and equip worship personnel both spiritually and musically.
3. Has a minimum of three years of ministry experience at the same
location.
4. Understands the Scriptures and can communicate and teach them
through worship.
5. Has the ability to communicate and establish effective working
relationships with many and diverse (multi-generational and multi-
cultural) people conveying a genuine concern for their needs and a
desire to provide excveptional service.
6. Has tje ability to work in and contribute to overall staff
team "strengths-based" environment.
Music/Arts/Worship
1. Has the ability to draw others into a passionate, contagious,
authentic, shared worship experience.
2. Keeps current with contemporary and culturally relevant music using,
multple genres in planning worship.
3. Has a proven track record of thinking outside the box creatively
when planning worship services.
4. Has a history of being a team player with the ability to build,
equip, and enable teams to lead in worship.
5. Has the ability to interact with people from a wide variety of
musical points of view without being solely wed to one form and
unable to relate to others forms.
6. Has the ability to arrange music.
7. Has the ability to study modern culture and infuse relevancy into
worship without compromising the message.
8. Has the ability to vocally lead worship from a guitar or
piano/keyboard.
Multimedia/Sound
1. Proficient in audio, sound, and production technology with the
ability to interact with the AV team to achieve the desired outcome.
