Then Windy City Community Church, a church of about 200-250 attendees, in Chicago, Illinois is the place for you!

FUNCTIONS:
• You will work directly with, and at the direction of, the Senior Pastor.
• You will be responsible for all aspects of the worship arts program.
• You will lead worship services with a worship band and be able to accompany yourself with a musical instrument.
• You will direct and guide the worship band which is comprised of congregational volunteers with varying levels of musical capability.
• You direct and lead a contemporary music style service and special concerts with sensitivity toward a multi-generational congregation.
• You will have responsibilities in congregational shepherding

REQUIREMENTS:
• The position is designed for someone who has at least five years of Worship Leader or Music Pastor experience (specifically, you have been BOTH the lead vocalist AND lead instrumentalist with piano or guitar.)
• Reading and transposing music (notation not solely chord charts) is required. Ability to write and arrange music is preferred.
• At least five years of sound and media systems experience and ability to direct teams in this area.
• At least one year of Media Shout experience is required.
• Computer literate. You are experienced with downloading clips off the internet, editing, lighting, sound and more to create a well presented worship experience.
• Have at least one year of experience shepherding a music/worship team and/or facilitating small groups.
• At least one year of experience being responsible for special events and projects and all operational aspects regarding them.
• Have a vibrant, energetic and outgoing personality.
• A college degree with some Biblical training is preferred but not required
