Job Description:
We are seeking God’s choice for a man to become our Associate Pastor. We expect such a man to be qualified for the opportunity in regards to his spiritual desires; complete assurance of his salvation; recognition that he has been called of God to this ministry; that he is in agreement with our doctrines & theology and has prepared himself to begin such duties.
We are a church approaching 100 in average attendance and strong beliefs in this being God’s church, work and plans. We are conservative in our beliefs and practices, holding to the Bible as God’s actual Words to mankind and His instructions to all Believers for their life practices.
The position consists of the overall responsibility of providing for and guiding the spiritual education of the family of God which worships at this location. This includes all ages and various activities. He will be assigned special responsibility for an emphasis on youth programs for all age levels.
Additionally, the Associate Pastor will be involved in some pastoral duties, especially when the Senior Pastor is absent. He will report directly to the Senior Pastor and be expected to work closely with him.
This position is fulltime and due to the schedule of normal church activities, no ‘outside’ employment is permitted. Salary and benefits will be that which permits a person to support himself and his family according to the economics of our area.
