| The Fort Mill Church of God, located in one of the fastest growing areas in the southeast, is seeking a Minister of Worship Arts. Established for over 75 years, the church offers, to a diverse membership of over 1000, a blended worship style with an emphasis on teaching and discipleship. The Minister of Worship Arts, together with the Senior Pastor, will lead, organize and plan all scheduled services for the following areas: individual and small groups, all choirs, musicians, orchestra, praise, drama, dance, and video production and duplication. We are seeking a mature Christian, degreed and credentialed, who has demonstrated in a multi-sensory worship environment excellence in leadership, creativity, and innovation. The candidate must be both team oriented and proficient at conflict resolution; he or she should possess excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to develop others. Provide ministry opportunities and training for existing and prospective members. 2. Identify the needs and interests of singers, musicians, drama, dance and media members. 3. Develop and execute, under the guidance of the Senior Pastor, special music productions of the church. 4. Develop and maintain the annual budget for Worship Arts Ministries. 5. Direct the adult choir and supervise all other choirs. 6. Maintain the policies and standards of the local church and denomination. 7. Organize, maintain and update the music library, including proper licensing and documentation. 8. Provide pastoral care to Worship Arts Ministries' members. 9. Select and coordinate congregational songs with sermon topics and seasonal themes. 10. Organize, manage and maintain Worship Arts Ministries' resources, such as CDs, DVDs, robes, instruments, sound, lighting, audio equipment and props. 11. Oversee the members of the Worship Arts Ministries, such as church pianist, orchestra director, sound, lighting, recording technicians, drama directors and choir directors. |
