Director of Worship Technologies
This position is responsible for all non-broadcast audio-visual and lighting operations on the church campus as well as occasional off campus church activities. Primary responsibility is operation of front-of-house sound in the church sanctuary. Candidate should have the ability to mix sound on a large format digital console for live events. Both traditional and contemporary services are offered, so the ability to mix both choral/orchestra and contemporary music is required.
More specifically the position includes:
1. Set up and operation of sound for worship services and any other activities in the church sanctuary including rehearsals, sound checks, etc. This will include weddings, funerals, school musicals, etc. The candidate may enlist, train, and supervise volunteers for some of these events.
2. Set up and supervision of lighting in sanctuary (programming console, aim and focus, relamping, etc.) and acquisition of special effects for theatrical productions.
3. Set up and operation of audio-visual equipment as needed for meetings in classrooms, fellowship hall, Memorial Chapel, etc. These setups may include audio systems, tv/vcr, projectors/screens, etc., as well as assistance to youth and children’s staff for worship rooms.
4. Remixing of worship service audio for broadcast or other recordings, preparation of click tracks for music department, preparation of rehearsal tracks for music department, etc.
5. Occasional assistance on video shoots both on and off campus.
6. Management of equipment inventory and initial troubleshooting of problems, contact with repair shops and handling of details for equipment repairs.
Candidate should have excellent people skills and be a team player. While specific ministry training is not required, a ministry focused individual is desired.

Media Department Staff
The Media Department staff consists of the Minister of Media, Director of Worship Technologies, Director of Video Production and Ministry Assistant. In addition to operation of AVL systems on the church campus, the department produces a half-hour weekly television program, half-hour daily television programs, and weekly radio program. The Media Department handles church communications and also works closely with the Music Department in production of several large theatrical productions each year.
