| Job Description: |
Cannon United Methodist Church, a rapidly growing 3,000-member congregation located near Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Minister of Music Ministries. Must have extensive experience in leading blended and contemporary worship services and excellent administrative skills. Spiritual maturity, strong interpersonal and management skills, and the ability to work on a collaborative leadership team are required. An advanced academic degree in music would be a plus. Programs currently in place include an adult choir, adult praise band with choral group, youth choirs, several childrens choirs, orchestra, and a hand bells choir. This position will provide leadership to an Associate Minister of Music, Organist, and Pianist as well as two volunteer Directors of Childrens Music. Ordination is not required.
