Seeking a male leader with minimum of one year experience with youth for full-time position to lead middle school and high school youth.The vision of CrossPointe Church is "to see unchurched people become fully- devoted followers of Jesus Christ". Our Youth Ministry is no different. We long to see young people, whether churched or unaccustomed to a church environment, moving toward a fully-devoted relationship with Jesus
Responsibilities
A.Lead or coordinate middle school and high school Sunday morning classes
B.Lead mid-week youth group meeting
C.Support other staff in church-wide events
D.Participate in occasional church staff gatherings (meetings, lunches, etc.)
E.Prepare and manage budget for youth ministry
F.Report to and work with the Pastoral staff and Session
G.Maintain and pursue personal spiritual growth and active involvement in the CrossPointe community
Qualifications
A.Passion for helping students meet Jesus and develop a relationship with Jesus
B.At least one year experience in a youth-related leadership role
C.Gift of “hanging out with students” while maintaining appropriate boundaries of ministry
D.Healthy sense of humor (ie> Ability to have fun in a van full of enthusiastic students!)
E.Ability to be a role model and mentor to students by actions, words, and deeds
F.College degree and divinity degree desirable
G.Pursuing a call to youth ministry desirable
H.Criminal Background Check
I.Growing an active relationship with Jesus
J.Utilizing spiritual gifts of leadership, teaching and shepherding
