| Job Description: |
| BCC is an established church of about 400 people in San Francisco, on the border of the Mission District (predominately Hispanic) and Noe Valley (young professionals). The worship style of the church is contemporary, utilizing a band and vocal team. It's a multi-generational church that is over 60 years old. The role of Worship Pastor or Director is about 25-30 hours a week. Depending on the skills and experience of the candidate, the position could possibly be combined with an additional role to warrant a full-time position. BCC is looking for an experienced leader to:
Provide spiritual leadership and care to the musicians
Create and lead worship experiences that engage the congregation
Participate on a staff team to lead the church and serve the community
Help BCC reach out to the people in the San Francisco community We're looking for a spiritually and emotionally mature person who's comfortable communicating the truth of the gospel to a diverse, urban culture.
