Asbury Church in Middleton, WI is looking for our next Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries!
Asbury has been blessed with faithful and bold leadership that has brought youth and young adults to Christ. Now we're searching for the person that God has prepared and gifted to take student and young adult ministries to the next level.
We have a full-time opportunity in an exciting university town for someone to join our staff as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. You will be inheriting an active high school program that has set kids on fire for Christ and young adults that are ready to become more active socially and study the Word of God together.
Asbury is a United Methodist church with a 50 year history and almost 1,000 members. You'll be a staff leader and join a full time ministry staff that includes two clergy, Family and Children's Ministry Director, Worship Director, and Media Director.
We're looking for someone with energy, drive, and an active relationship with Jesus Christ. The youth said they want someone who is: organized; easy to talk to (but not "preachy"); experienced; on their own faith walk; and an authority figure (lays down the rules, but still knows how to have fun.) The adults that work with youth would add to that list someone who can: bring previous youth ministry experience; teach and lead classes and Bible studies; be a relatable role model; get kids excited about Christ; work with families and ministry teams; lead service ministry in the local community; and continue our life changing mission trips.
We are excited for this opportunity to foster relationships and build our Young Adult Ministries. We presently do not have a ministry for young adults (18-35). We are looking for someone creative, ambitious, and energetic to take this ministry on.
