Job Description:

Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church is a growing_noemailmunity of faith in Winter Haven, which is midway between Orlando and Tampa, Florida. We are seeking a full-time Director of Children's Ministry. This person will need to be a self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic team player who understands how to build a children's ministry, introduce young ones to God, grow them in their faith, and equip parents to disciple their children.

The Director of Children's Ministry should be:
a follower of Christ,_noemailmitted to growing spiritually;
a strong leader;
an excellent_noemailmunicator of church-wide vision and direction;
a skilled recruiter of student and adult volunteers;
well_noemailanized;
able to build relationships across the congregation.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Three years of hands-on experience building and implementing a children's ministry program, including partnering with parents, is preferred.
