CrossLife Church is a growing, dynamic group of people of all ages who are interested in connecting through uplifting worship, practical bible study, and active involvement in service. At CrossLife, families and singles alike will find life-changing messages, small groups for all ages, and a unique sense of belonging.

First established in 1869 in affiliation with the Southern Baptist Conference, the church began its process of growth in the 1990s. Pastor Mercer's arrival during this period propelled the church into new heights, reaching 500 in regular attendance. Today, attendance has increased to 2,200 under Pastor Mercer's leadership. With longstanding roots in biblical preaching, CrossLife continues to impact its believers and surrounding_noemailmunity through its central campus and satellite venues with the life-giving message of the Gospel each week.

The Campus Pastor will be highly skilled in vision execution, and task a_noemailplishment, as the vision, mission, service flow, and operational procedures are implemented in congruence with the central campus of CrossLife Church. The successful candidate for this position will be an individually driven ‘matchmaker' (duplicating the main church), and require very little oversight.

The ideal candidate for this position would have been a Youth Pastor, Singles Pastor, Family Pastor, or a Campus Pastor that has proven experience growing a ministry. They will have a desire to teach, shepherd, and steward the congregation of which they have oversight. They will be passionate about growing a small church, and highly evangelistic in its approach of doing so. This individual will have a strong aptitude in teaching as well as a strong sense of socio-emotional intelligence for the purpose of developing relationships across the campus_noemailmunity.

The prospective candidate will preferably possess a seminary degree, with five years of experience growing a ministry. Success in this position will be determined by:

-An increased and solidified campus attendance of 200.
-Recruited and trained volunteer base of 50+ per weekend.
-Enhanced presence and impact in surrounding_noemailmunity.
-A strong usage of social media that has contributed to maximizing connections across the campus_noemailmunity.

Located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Orlando, Oviedo is part of the Orlando—Kissimmee—Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. Charming, with hints of metropolitan culture, the city is rapidly expanding, and experiencing a growth spurt. The median age of Oviedo's residents is 36.5. Forty-one percent of the current population of 34,965 are college graduates. Oviedo is a predominantly white-collar, transient professional_noemailmunity located in one of the top 10 places to live in the United States. Longstanding established employers in the region include Publix supermarkets, A. Duda and Sons, Inc., major growers of sod, the Oviedo Marketplace shopping mall, University of Central Florida, Seminole Community College, which sits just outside the City's corporate limits, and the City of Oviedo itself with over 300 full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff members.
