Music Coordinator Job - St. Luke United Methodist Church, Lexington, Kentucky

1) Music Coordinator: St. Luke UMC is searching for a Music Coordinator to direct the Adult Choir for one traditional and two blended services weekly, prepare solos and special ensembles where needed and coordinate performances by other music groups, such as Handbell Choir and Children's Choirs. The Music Coordinator would also oversee Worship Leader and special music preparations for Christmas, Holy Week and special services. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Music, knowledge of music theory and ability to write simple choral and instrumental arrangements, a flexible schedule with the ability to work every Sunday and frequent evening rehearsals. This is a part-time position, approximately 25-30 hours a week, and reports to the Senior Pastor.
