Praise Band Leader
Cooper Mt. Presbyterian Fellowship, a small but growing church in SW Washington County, is expanding their paid staff to include a Praise Band Leader.
Job Description
The person will lead the praise band and assist the pastor and worship ministry team in planning and leading our worship services. Desired skills include: excellent vocal, instrumental and worship leadership;_noemailanization,_noemailmunication, and leadership proficiency; ability to map chord structures and rhythms to create a unified and tight sound among musicians; experience in leading contemporary and traditional praise music; knowledge of various praise and worship music styles with particular emphasis on contemporary praise; familiarity with sound system technology.
This person will work closely with volunteers to maximize their musical talents. The ideal candidate will exhibit spiritual maturity, a dynamic personality, an ability to direct and relate well to a variety of ages, and the desire to grow the worship and praise music program as our congregation grows. We are looking for creativity in trying new and different things, and desire to implement occasional projects/activities to reach out into our_noemailmunity as well. The position will require an average of about 10 hours per week.

Deep and Growing Commitment to Jesus Christ
Experienced instrumental and vocal musician with particular proficiency in contemporary praise music.
Effective_noemailanization and_noemailmunication skills
Ability to dynamically lead worship
Willingness to train and recruit volunteers
Education in Music, Ministry or related field is desired
Experience leading worship is required
