Director of Children's Ministry
Job Description:
Galilee United Methodist Church, a northern Virginia congregation of over 450 average attendance, is looking for an experienced self-motivated leader to direct our Children's Ministry.
The right candidate should be a team player, self-starter and possess an understanding of how to grow a dynamic children's ministry. A qualified applicant should have previous children's ministry experience, a four-year college degree (preferred), as well as the following characteristics:

o A strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
o Leadership skills with the ability to_noemailmunicate vision and direction for the church's children's ministry.
o An ability to plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate worship, connection, growth and service experiences.
o Experience in recruiting, developing, and overseeing adult and student volunteers.
