Assistant Production Director
Job Description:
This position is responsible for supporting the audio and visual needs of the church during weekend services, special church events and during the week as needed. Additional responsibilities of this position include attending and mixing sound for the weekly worship rehearsals and weekend services, set up and tear down of stage audio and back line equipment, assist in the training of weekend production volunteers, maintenance and upkeep of all production equipment in South Park Sanctuary and Control Room, assisting in the conceptualization, design and construction of Stage Sets (lighting, rigging and video integration) and program lights for the weekend environment. Qualifications for this position include a working knowledge of mixing live sound on a digital audio console (specifically a Digidesign Venue Profile, Yamaha PM1D/5D or DiGiCo D1/D5) as well as on a high end line array audio system, experience in a broadcast video environment with HD cameras/video switchers and program lighting on a moving light console (Jands Vista T2, GrandMA or Hog III) to enhance the visual aspect of the worship service. 4-6 years of experience in live production as well as 1-2 years experience in a church environment preferred.
