Chief Audio Engineer Job - Orchard Road Christian Center, Denver, Colorado

Candidate must have excellent technical and artistic techniques in providing a live sound mix with ability to adapt to diverse audiences and musical styles. Manages audio operations, lighting and technical support for church services and special events; oversees AV support for church activities and classes in various locations in a large facility. Maintains audio, video and musical equipment in good repair; keeps current with multimedia trends; researches and r_noemailmends new audio-visual technology. Proficient with a variety of equipment such as oscilloscope, waveform monitor, multi-meter, decibel meter, various types of microphones and wireless audio equipment, digital audio consoles, digital speaker management program, real time audio analyzer and recording studio equipment.

Reports directly to the Pastor of Worship Arts and supports weekly rehearsals, sound checks and church services. Will supervise Assistant Audio Engineer and train volunteers in the Audio Department. Minimum of 5 yrs related audio experience; previous church audio experience preferred. Previous supervisory and managerial experience is essential. Self-motivated; excellent people skills; highly_noemailanized. Attendance at ORCC home church is required; baptism in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues preferred. Good Motor Vehicle Record and valid Drivers License required. Hours are varied, linked to church service, event and rehearsal schedules. Salary: $36,000 – $42,000 per year + benefits package.
