Job Description:
Children's ministry: (60% of the emphasis). Duties are Oversee and direct ministry to Children and their families including: Provide vision and leadership to_noemailanize a Christian ministry for children that is fun, vibrant, purposeful, and active. Oversee the Children's ministry on Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, and Summer (camps, VBS). Work with parents to create greater ownership and participation in the spiritual development of their children. Provide administrative oversight to the Discovery Days Weekday Preschool. Recruit volunteers and provide them training and support. Develop, implement and lead an outreach and inreach program to reach and help assimilate young families.
Church Life: (40% of emphasis) Duties to oversee and direct the Discipleship ministry of the church include: Develop a systematic discipleship ministry that promotes people's development into Christian maturity. Develop ways to help the church form as an authentic Christian_noemailmunity. Create opportunities for people to deepen their intimacy with Christ. Also, Oversee and direct the Adult Sunday School to encourage a better understanding of the Scriptures, promote a church-wide culture of growing as followers of Jesus, and help people find a place to grow spiritually and serve according to their maturity and giftedness.
