POSITION TITLE: Children's Pastor/Children's Director

REPORTS TO: Operations Pastor

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt Full-time, Pastoral Staff

JOB SUMMARY: cfa's Children's Pastor oversees the Sunday morning "kidspace" ministry at cfa,_noemailprised of "Noah's Park" for infants – K and "Wired" for 1st through 6th graders. Responsibilities include Pastoral care to families as well as equipping parents to fulfill their calling as the primary spiritual trainers of their children. A strong emphasis is placed on drama based Biblical lessons, as well as large group worship,small group discussion and activites based on grade level, life application of Biblical messages, prayer, friendship building activities and having fun. This role would also include overseeing paid staff personnel, as well as training and supporting the Kidspace volunteer ministry team.
