Job Description:

The Snyder Music Academy at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a part-time Christian piano instructor. The Academy is well-known in the area and has been in existence since Jan. 2002. It averages 575 students per semester and is the second largest church related music academy in the United States. Fayetteville has a well-rounded arts_noemailmunity and is centrally located to music and arts venues in the Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle area of North Carolina. The instructor should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in piano and be able to teach all levels and ages of students. This person must work well with beginners as well as advanced students. Prior teaching experience is required. The ability to teach a secondary instrument will be a plus. This position can offer an instructor 20-35 students.

We are also seeking a double bass player to fill a position in the Snyder Orchestra. The Snyder Orchestra is a professional level 45 piece orchestra and plays for worship approximately 12 times during the year as well as for special events during the year for a total of approximately 20 services. This person could also teach strings through The Snyder Music Academy.
