Job Description:
Purpose
The Senior High Youth Pastor will develop, implement and direct a dynamic senior high youth ministry program, calendar of activities and special events designed to include all aspects of spiritual growth in alignment with our total student ministry vision.
General Responsibilities
• Recruit and develop a core team of adult leaders who will partner in ministry to establish and sustain a large senior high youth ministry program.
• Develop, and implement, long-range plans for senior high youth ministry in collaboration with the rest of The Bible Chapel's student ministry team (Jr. high and College).
• Teach the Bible to students and leaders with clarity, creativity, and conviction, in a way that encourages students to personally engage with Jesus Christ.
• Establish standards for activities and oversee evaluation against those standards to identify progress toward objectives.
• Provide counseling, pastoral care and visitation, as needed, among students, their families, and volunteers working under your supervision.
• Develop healthy relationships with parents/guardians of students, providing resources for them to assist in their growth as Christian parents.

Passion to work with 9-12th grade students and lead volunteers and parents with a vision to see students grow in Christ and serve Him in all areas of their lives.
Experience
Mature believer in agreement with belief and teaching of The Bible Chapel; seminary degree preferred; minimum of 1-3 years in youth ministry experience preferred.
Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Compensation package negotiated based on qualifications, experience.
Accountability
The Senior High Youth Pastor is accountable to the Director of Student Ministry
