Job Description:

The Worship Leader is responsible for teaching, training, and encouraging God's people through worship in harmony with the purpose of Church on Mill and leadership of the Senior Pastor. The Worship Leader will assist in the implementation of the purpose and vision of the church through worship. The Worship Leader will support the vision of the church by leading the worship ministry with a focus on all worship being done for the glory of God. As a church we are to teach, admonish, and encourage each other through various worship forms. Worship services are to be participatory rather than performance-oriented. Theological content of worship is to be sought over style of music and liturgy. Worship should be aimed at a wide variety of peoples, in line with the diverse membership of Church on Mill. As an individual, the Worship Leader should model worship in their personal life in accordance with biblical teaching and the purpose and vision of Church on Mill.
