Part-time Contemporary Worship Leader - REPOSTING

First United Methodist Church, Denton is seeking a people-oriented, dynamic, Christ-centered Contemporary Worship Leader to grow an established Praise & Worship service through strong spiritual and musical leadership. The Worship Leader will function as a pastoral presence to the congregation, leading singing, sharing occasional prayer, and_noemailmunicating information to the worshipers. The Worship Leader should have a mature spiritual life that is gladly shared with others.

The Worship Leader should possess sufficient technological, musical and _noemailanizational skills to schedule, arrange, rehearse and present music appropriate to the service with an established 15-member band. All logistic considerations of the band will be the responsibility of the Worship Leader.

The Connection Worship Leader will oversee audio/visual presentations that assist in service, including song lyrics, scripture, liturgical texts, etc.

This is a part-time position of approximately 10-12 hours per week.

Our contemporary worship congregation is part of larger, semi-urban, musically- sophisticated church located in a rapidly growing area of the central southwest.
