Worship Pastor Job - Summit Ridge Church, Las Vegas, Nevada

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Oversee a God-glorifying worship ministry to lead the people of Summit Ridge Church before the throne of God.
To carry out the mission of Summit Ridge Church – Summit Ridge Church exists to Glorify God, to make much of Jesus Christ in all that we do. We glorify Jesus by: Loving God, Loving others, and Serving the world.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead the congregation before the throne of God through the means of music and the worship team

2. Leadership & Administration
o Weekly meeting with Pastor John Caprine
o Oversee the_noemailanization and running of all worship teams
o Oversight of weekly slides for worship service
o Worship practice on Saturday's or other time in the week.
o Update CCLI each year, as needed
o Giving regular input into the direction of the ministries
o Delegate specific responsibilities to other team members
o Attend a yearly training seminar/conference
o Give oversight to the worship ministry budget area

3. Relationship Building
o Shepherd the team(s) toward Christ. Encourage and love them forward in truth and grace
o Help your team(s) feel connected into the life of Summit Ridge Church

TIME REQUIRED
We anticipate this position to be a minimum of 15-20 hours per week on average.

BENEFITS OF THE POSITION

SALARY
This position will start at $20,000.00 with the anticipation of increasing into a full-time position with greater benefits.
We recognize that the beginning of this position is part-time and the Worship Pastor will need to either raise additional support (ideally), or maintain another part-time job outside of SRC.
