Worship Leader ROLE: Cultivate a culture of worship @ CTR that's consistent with our values, aimed at a_noemailplishing our Core Calling & living out our purpose. Spiritual leadership of the worship teams and CTR congregation.

glorify God.

Experiences: Demonstrates confirmation that God has directed them to
this sort of role in the body of Christ, showing fruit in this ministry. High level experience with all aspects of music performance, team development, training. Some basic knowledge of sound and technical interfacing.

Spiritual Gifting: Leadership, Teaching, Exhortation

Individual Style: Developer/Manager who loves God and people, oversight capabilities, with an eye/ear for detail.

Growth: Member of CTR,_noemailpleted membership classes, Character Development class, character of a deacon/deaconess. Demonstrates a biblical understanding of foundational doctrine, the NT church, leadership, and worship.

Natural Abilities & Strengths: Demonstrates high-level musical ability ranging over a variety of styles; able to mentor, train and develop musicians on instruments and vocals, able to build and equip teams. Good people and_noemailmunication skills, with an attitude of service and humility in leadership.

Availability: Weekend services (at least 2-3 times a month), some weekday office hours, and occasional weekday evenings or weekends (outside of services) for training or to provide worship support for youth & other CTR events within allotted hours.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Model a focus on God and worshipping Him, so He gets glory and honor from our efforts.
Develop the worship experience on weekends: Develop the current worship leaders and teams to grow in their effectiveness of leading the congregation in worship via music. Educate, lead and inspire the congregation in their response to God. Provide leadership within the flow of weekend services by working with the service planning team while they coordinate all aspects of the weekend services. Help recruit, lead, train and develop the worship arts volunteers for weekends, including: Additional worship leaders, musicians and vocalists
Build & equip other musical worship teams for different age groups and activities; student ministries, weddings, church-wide events, funerals, baptisms, child dedications, Son Harbor, etc. Periodically provide musical worship for above.
