Director of Youth Ministries Job - Harvest Bible Chapel Granger, Granger, Indiana

Direct Report: Senior Pastor TYPE: Employee STATUS: Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS:
Spiritually maturity, teachability, humility to follow and ability to lead.
Passion, experience and_noemailpetency in the discipleship of adolescent youth.
Ability to model maturity, integrity, and personal purity.
Ability to_noemailmunicate gospel-centered, biblically saturated messages to youth.
Solid understanding and_noemailmitment to biblical marriage and parenting.
A bachelor's degree in theological studies or ministry is desirable.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Encourage and Provide Opportunities for Students' Spiritual Growth and Service

Organize and lead a weekly gathering including worship, teaching, small group, and fun
Plan monthly socials and 2 retreats per ministry year
Identify and offer regular service projects and_noemailpassion opportunities for students
Develop leadership skills for students and offer opportunities to lead
Support Parents and Families of Students
Assimilate new and uninvolved students by providing information about the opportunities and philosophy of Harvest Granger's youth ministries to students and their parents.
Regularly inform parents through meetings, email, text messages and social_noemailworks of teaching topics, u_noemailing events and activities.

Lead and Oversee all aspects of Youth Ministries
Develop a clear and simple philosophy of youth ministries that can be easily articulated that aligns with the mission and pillars of Harvest Bible Chapel Granger.
Provide leadership and oversight by_noemailanizing, managing and casting vision for Youth Ministries.
Prepare and execute ministry year calendar.
Identify, recruit, train and equip a team of volunteer adult leaders for ministry
Shepherd leaders to ensure spiritual health and growth
Supervise leaders to ensure proper placement aligning with spiritual gifts.
