Audio Video Engineer Job - Faith Chapel Christian Center, Birmingham, Alabama

Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the stage monitoring system for vocalists and musicians during Sunday and
Wednesday services as well as special events.
Develop and implement monitor engineering and studio recording training for volunteer
audio staff
Make digital audio recordings of conferences, seminars, lectures, sermons, concerts, or
other activities requested by staff and ministries
Edit digital masters of all services, teaching and seminars held at FCCC for the
Duplication Ministry
Be on site during all special FCCC functions, requiring audio/video services
Learn to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio and video equipment at all on-site
locations
Provide audio/visual/lighting services for small classroom settings and other smaller
church functions
Assist in developing and maintaining music library in MP3 format
Assist in oversight of sound for video
Record, and maintain music for on-hold and campus music systems
Maintain current knowledge of new technology and availability of latest
audio/visual/lighting equipment and supplies on the market
Train non-audio lay persons in the use of audiovisual equipment in classrooms
Facilitate audio needs for guest ministers and performers
Set up and record audio for studio tapings of opening and closing addresses for FCCC
television programs prior to the date of taping.
Set up and record audio for studio taping of specials for FCCC television programs prior
to the date of taping
Set up and record audio voice-overs for promotional video spots
Aid in post-production of audio for television
Assist in maintenance and operability of audio system in all facilities of FCCC
Aid in the selection and evaluation of new and used audio, video and lighting equipment
Assisting guest music ministries for special events or at FCCC
Assisting with production needs with any outside vendors
Assisting with maintenance of inventory of audio/video/lighting equipment
Maintain inventory of supplies, prepare purchase order requests
Assist in development of a resource library for audio/visual/lighting technicians
Fulfill other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of ProTools
Advanced_noemailputer skills; understand use of MAC platform
Live mixing & recording experience
Audio Technician or related field credentials
At least four years previous experience in related field
Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment
