Job Description:
We are seeking a leader gifted by God to transform our existing ministry model of Sunday school classes and home groups, to a_noemailmunity life model. This requires a pastor who can envision the future state; inspire people to embrace that future; translate vision to a detailed ministry model; plan the implementation of that model; and lead the activities and people necessary to execute and continuously assess and improve the_noemailmunity life model.
The Pastor of Community Life will be responsible for building a_noemailmunity group ministry within the church body. This includes leadership and oversight of the other age and gender-based educational ministries. These_noemailmunity groups will promote biblical_noemailmunity through biblical teaching, fellowship, care within the body, and outreach to the_noemailmunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a foundational midsize group ministry that incorporates existing groups and launches new groups, making the best use of facilities and resources.
- Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and other leaders to integrate the_noemailmunity life ministry into CBC’s overall ministry model.
- Coach groups to be intentionally holistic in that they provide application-based teaching, intentional care and fellowship, and regular outreach opportunities for service and evangelism.
- Manage all education and_noemailmunity life ministry budgets and resources.
- Develop the staff under your leadership, building their ministry capabilities, holding them accountable for their stated ministry objectives, and ministering to them as a pastor.
Qualifications:
- Agrees with CBC’s doctrinal views with instincts that match CBC’s ministry philosophy.
- Strong theological and doctrinal understanding. Seminary degree preferred.
- Proven experience building and leading mid-size groups in a church of at least 600 attendees.
- Possess a broad knowledge related to midsize groups, small groups, discipling, mentoring, assimilation and leadership development.
