Job Description:
Trinity United Methodist Church in Opelika, AL, is prayerfully seeking a high-energy, self-motivated leader for our growing Children's Ministry. The candidate for this full-time position should have previous Children's Ministry experience and a College Degree in Ministry, Education, or a related area is preferred. Looking for somebody with a passion to serve and the skill set to take a strong, established program to the next level.
The Children's Minister reports directly to the Executive Pastor and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire ministry to the children of Trinity UMC, ages birth through twelve years old. Position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to recruit, inspire, develop, and empower volunteers. Prior experience with administration of: Nursery, Mother's Day Out Programs, VBS, Awana, Sunday School, and Summer Education Programs preferred.
Salary & Benefits Package. Range $38,000 - $42,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
