The role includes:
Financial planning, budget development, and budget discipline within an_noemailanization;
The operation and management of accounting systems, including both cash and accrual systems;
Managing a significant number of funds, each of which has its own requirements and constraints; and
Information technology as it relates to financial management, and particularly experience with ACS or other industry-standard accounting programs
A CPA is strongly r_noemailmended. Experience with church accounting is preferred.
This position requires active_noemailmunication with church staff and a wide range of lay leadership. Some of the_noemailmittees that require the CFO's attendance meet evenings during the week.
