Director of Music Ministries Job - First Church, Butler PA, Butler, Pennsylvania

The individual who successfully interviews for the Director of Music Ministries position will be expected to grow a church wide music program that involves the musicians from all of the church's music venues and must act as a bridge between all music ministry positions in the church. Additionally there is an expectation that this individual will be successful in developing a number of teams to effectively manage the music program. These teams may include, but would not be limited to, such areas as music selection and scheduling, management of a musician data base, caring for the church music library, managing the technologies behind the scenes of worship and caring for the musicians involved in the program.

It is not expected that the Director of Music Ministries will be directly involved in all of the work done by the teams. Rather, this individual will be expected to guide and manage their work to provide oversight and coordination of their efforts.
