Music Minister Job - St. Joseph Church of Christ, St. Joseph, Illinois

Administrative responsibilities
Effectively leads the worship team and congregational music.
Works with the Sr. Minister in planning and coordinating weekend worship services to impact maturing believers and to reach new people.
Work with staff and ministry volunteers for leading Sunday worship services.
Actively pursue experiences and information for relevant worship experiences that are specific to SJCOC.
Able to program worship services from a wide range of traditional and contemporary music styles in order to a_noemailmodate the diversity within the congregation.
Work with volunteers and leaders to ensure music and worship responsibilities are effective for ministry programs, such as VBS, youth programs and_noemailmunity programs.

Main technical responsibilities
Schedule worship and media volunteers with on-line program - Planning Center
Utilize existing technology for worship design, sound, lighting and staging
Ability to incorporate new technologies to benefit overall church services and activities
Familiar with ProPresenter, Photoshop and After Effects
Develop and maintain church website – www.sjcoc_noemail
Creation of podcasts

Spiritual and evangelistic responsibilities
Display evidence of a_noemailmitted relationship to Jesus Christ through a continuous study of Scripture, an active prayer life a fruitful testimony of Christlikeness.
Partner with the elders and other paid ministers in fulfilling the vision of the SJCOC through worship experiences.
Initiate and participate in creative activities that reach out beyond the church building.
Constantly challenge people to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Bringing them into salvation and assisting to mature in their faith.
