Audio-Visual Coordinator
Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Associate Pastor / Pastor of Worship, the Audio Visual Coordinator will be responsible for providing oversight to the audio visual needs and functions of the Church. On behalf of the Church, the Audio Visual Coordinator will_noemailmunicate in a professional, positive and honest manner. The primary position objective is to execute all audio visual production related to the Churches services, and to develop and train volunteer staff to assist with these needs. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent problem solving skills and an ability to work independently yet in a team oriented environment. Candidates must be able to multitask and engage a dynamic and challenging environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the setup and operation of Sound Equipment (Front and Back of House), knowledgeable in both Mac and PC based_noemailputer systems and presentation software, experience in the setup and operation of Video Camera and Projection systems and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities as shown below.
Personal Qualifications:
o A Christian of good reputation and credibility
o Trustworthy
o Experienced in relating well to various groups of people
o Proven ability to_noemailanize and administrate
o Is self-directed and can work independently when required
Experience:
o Member of a team oriented staff, preferably in a church or ministry environment.
o Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
o Two or more years' experience where A/V Operations and Setup were the primary focus.
Skills:
o Thorough understanding of Sound Mixing and Audio Acoustics
o Practical experience in Mixing multiple audio sources during real time (Live) events for both Back and Front of House
o Demonstrated proficiency in_noemailputer skills (Mac and PC) including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Pro-Presenter
o Strong_noemailmunication and_noemailanizational skills
o Friendly and polite
o Relates well to other people,_noemailmitted team player
o Detail oriented, strong aptitude for precision, self-learner
o Able to work well under tight deadlines with limited resources

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Responsible for Audio and Visual production for all congregational services including but not limited to; Saturday Evening Service, Sunday Service(s), Wednesday Evening Journey of Prayer, Thursday Evening Bible Study and Special Events.
o Budgeting for materials related to the Churches audio/visual needs including future video monitoring upgrades.
o Ordering and purchasing of all related materials and equipment
o Maintenance and upkeep of Audio / Visual equipment
o Duplication of services on CD and coordination of Podcasts and future Streaming
o Maintaining a digital library of Sermons
