Broadcast and Production Director Job - Faith Chapel Christian Center, Birmingham, Alabama

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for supervision of service production and post-production staff (employees, vision partners & contractors). This position is also responsible for overall success of the weekly television/online broadcasts.

Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with Service Programmer and staff on weekly service productions
Manage and oversee tech teams (audio, video, lighting) to create an atmosphere of Worship
Responsible for overall success of weekly television broadcast
Responsible for the negotiation of air times
Perform market analysis research to determine prime markets for Faith Chapel entrance to the television market
Evaluate the needs of area and develop processes, procedures, and schedules to help achieve a successful television broadcast launch
Manages all production activities and television operations for Faith Chapel
Prepares cost estimates for equipment and labor in preparation of production budget; monitors production budgets.
Directs technical production staff in set-up and operation of site production activities; maintains production standards and quality control.
Produces and directs special events or projects.
Develop leaders while maintaining and conveying the overall Vision of the Church within the department

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of broadcast rules, regulations and guidelines
Knowledge of production and technical standards
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
Strong customer service skills

Knowledge of live streaming protocols
Ability to effectively_noemailmunicate
Working knowledge of NLE systems (FCP, Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
Working knowledge of ProPresenter and Media Shout software
Experience with lighting (High End Systems Lighting Equipment), audio
(Avid Sound Boards), video (Switchers, Character Generators, Integration,
Installation, Upgrade & Repair) equipment
Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Engineering or equivalent preferred, 4 or more years experience
Broadcast Television experience required
