Job Description:
Sandals Church is looking for a Production Supervisor who will provide leadership to the production team and oversees all production related operations for worship services and events. This is a great opportunity for a church techie!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in working order for worship service and events; all services are run efficiently and on time.
+Produces worship service.
+Maintain and carry out standard operating procedures for all audio and visual equipment.
+Oversee departmental scheduling, installation and maintenance of new and/or existing equipment, stage set-up, and trainings.
+Must set up, operate, tear down and maintain production equipment.
+Consult with appropriate parties to determine production requirements (sound, lighting, etc.).
+Technically proficient with lighting, video recording, sound and data projection.
+Selecting, positioning, adjusting and operating equipment used for amplification and recording.
+Monitoring audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions.
+Live staging experience.
+Flexible work schedule is required due to working weekends and/or nights.
+Oversee audio/visual building projects.
+Recruit, interview, lead, shepherd, and develop production volunteers. The team is required to have a minimum of ten (10) volunteers.
+Ensure that all team members are trained in their respective departments.
+Establish and implement an apprentice/training program.
+Work with other lead volunteers to ensure all technical needs for services and events are met.
+Lead production team meetings and leadership meetings.
+Create social events and/or trainings for the production team (i.e., retreats, get-togethers, trainings, etc.).
+Attend department directors meetings and_noemailmunicate all service needs and issues to production team.
+Help cast the vision for the production team and conveys leadership's vision.
+Attend audio/visual trainings on a monthly basis, or on a more frequent basis.
+Conduct weekly trainings on audio/visual.
+Help craft annual budget.
+Trouble shooting skills.
+Requires some public speaking.
+Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will supervise the Production Assistant as well as a team of volunteers in several areas of production. Must be able to recruit, train and retain volunteer leaders and teams.
