Orchard United Methodist Church (Orchard) has developed and maintained a strong music program that is at the same time experiential, participatory and performance based. At Orchard, music is essential to the worship experience, both enhancing the message and reinforcing our mission and vision: Inspiring and equipping people to be disciples of Jesus Christ by connecting people to God, to each other, and to the best parts of themselves. Members often identify music as what drew them to Orchard. We believe that music is biblically based and has many purposes including praise, prayer, teaching, reinforcing our beliefs, giving thanks, and is a means to express sorrow and joy.
