JOB TITLE: Pastor of Administrative Services

REPORTS TO: Senior Pastor and to the Church Elder Board

PURPOSE: The Pastor of Administrative Services is for the supervision, guidance, and development of the church staff and their ministries.

The Pastor of Administrative Services differs from the Senior Pastor & Associate Pastor in that he gives more immediate oversight to_noemailanization: planning, directing and evaluating the ministries of the church. He is responsible for the creation, development, staffing, coordinating, and direction of ministries in the church. He sees that these things get done, so that_noemailmunication, harmony and faithfulness to the vision prevail. Most immediately he relates directly to the staff as the central sprocket that all their cogs fit into. He serves them by seeing that their efforts cohere with the mission of the church and the other areas of ministry, and that they have the share of resources they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervises and directs the CLCBC staff in the discharge of their individual and collective duties. Pastor of Administrative Services leads staff meetings, participates in the annual appraisal of individual job performance, salary, and benefit r_noemailmendations. Each Staff person's appraisal will also include how their ministry aligns with and supports the church's vision.

2. Addresses the spiritual development of the staff. He attends to the development of their soul and spiritual life and seeks to be an active and consistent encourager of their walk with God.

3. Equipping strength development – intentionally guiding the staff into deeper self-awareness via gifts, talents and strengths discovery; providing training based on the discovery. Works with church staff and lay leaders to train and equip by developing talents, strengths and ministry skills.

4. Works with pastoral staff and church staff to ensure effective_noemailmunication and coordination between the Senior Pastor and church staff. Includes supervision and maintenance of the master church calendar of events and any reconciliation of program conflicts which may develop.

5. Designs process for managing and implementing tactical, strategic and transformational change, as agreed with the Church Board and Senior Pastor.

6. Resolves conflicts, remove roadblocks, and guides all subordinate staff in pursuit of agreed goals.

7. Manages budget process by evaluating and prioritizing ministry needs. Which include managing the benefits.

8. Involvement in other pastoral duties, as directed by the Senior Pastor.
