Job Description:

First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, Illinois is seeking an Interim Coordinator of Contemporary Worship for our 1400 member church in Chicago's western suburbs. This part-time (20-25 hours/week) position includes leading the weekly contemporary worship services, developing and directing the praise team, and collaborating with the Pastor and Director of Music Ministries to design a weekly worship experience that draws the congregation into worship and enhances their worship experience.

The successful candidate will be an a_noemailplished musician, strong_noemailanizational skills, and possess musical background and performance skills. Strong vocal ability mixed with guitar and/or keyboard talent is preferred, along with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in worship leadership. The candidate must be a strong spiritual leader and team builder who also is willing and able to shepherd volunteers.
