TITLE: Chaplain to TV Congregation / Pastoral Care Associate

SUMMARY:
The Chaplain to TV Congregation will coordinate the ministry contact of FBCSA with those who participate in our fellowship through the television broadcast. This person will follow up contacts made through phone, e-mail, or personal request, and develop ministry relationships/strategies as are necessary and possible. This person will serve as a member of the Pastoral Care team, and will report to the Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care, Singles, and Small Groups.

29 hours/week

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:
Review Sunday Phone Ministry contacts to determine follow-up ministry
Establish ministry relationships with TV congregants through personal visits, letters,e-mails, hospital/grief ministry, etc., as possible.
Help train and encourage phone volunteers.
Assist Director of Media and Broadcast in planning and executing two annual TV Special Offering campaigns
Serve on the Pastoral Care team
Meet weekly with staff/AP for Pastoral Ministries

QUALIFICATIONS:
Chaplaincy experience a plus
Seminary training preferred
