Senior Pastor Job - Faith Bible Church, Bryan, Texas

Faith Bible Church (FBC) is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor. FBC's mission is "to engage every generation to b_noemaile fully devoted followers of Christ" by applying expository teaching to develop and strengthen Christ centered lives, marriages and families. FBC is located in rural Brazos County, approximately seven miles east of Bryan‐College Station, home of Texas A&M University. Qualifications:
Live as an intensely devoted follower of Christ
A baccalaureate/seminary degree or higher preferred
Substantial effective senior level leadership experience in an established church/ministry of 200 plus members
Capable of demonstrating consistency in studying & preaching God's word

Job Overview
The Senior Pastor will strive to guide all generations into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and lead them to b_noemaile dedicated followers of Christ, with the most important duty being to effectively study, teach, and preach the Word of God. The Senior Pastor is supervised by the Elder Board and is himself an Elder. Together with the other Elders, he is to shepherd the spiritual life of the Church, to develop mature disciples of Jesus Christ and to discern God's direction for FBC.

He is also to:

Uphold, respect, and promote the Core Values, Mission and Vision of FBC
Work with the Elders to shepherd the flock, guard the purity of doctrine in order to glorify Christ, and to set the vision, strategy and direction of FBC
Personally counsel or refer FBC attendees to appropriate resources
Provide Pastoral Care (need/crisis-based visitation/counseling/new visitors)
Maintain regular on-site office hours and attend church functions
Pray diligently for the Church

Compensation: Negotiable based on education and experience. FBC is_noemailmitted to offering a_noemailmensurate salary intended to maintain a long‐term ministry relationship. Benefits include certain relocation expenses covered and paid vacation.
