Job Description:
Centerville Community Church (CCC) is seeking a full time Lead Pastor. This position will have oversight over all ministries occurring at CCC with specific focus on prayer, preaching, vision casting, staff and leadership development,_noemailmunity outreach, administration and discipleship. The Lead Pastor is accountable to the Elder Board.
Qualifications:
The CCC Pastor must meet the qualification of Elder as found in I Timothy 3:1-7, be licensed or licensable in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and have a clear sense of God's call to pastoral ministry. We seek a conversational style preacher who uses expositional and topical approaches to apply the Word to congregants' lives. To be successful, we believe our Pastor must be able to clearly and_noemailpellingly_noemailmunicate vision and inspire people to pursue it. We seek an empowering leader,_noemailmitted to equipping and releasing with appropriate accountability. He has a proven track record of effective leadership either as a Lead Pastor of a growing church having led the congregation to a Sunday morning attendance of at least 300-400, or a Staff Pastor in a large church whose ministry responsibilities allowed him to develop tools to lead a church of 500+ into next levels of growth. A Master of Divinity is preferred.
